Allium Cristophii - 6 Handprinted Christmas Cards

A boxed set of 6 handprinted Christmas cards, 3 gold and 3 red.

This linocut was inspired by the stunning Allium Cristophii plants we grow in our garden here on Islay. During December we collect their dried seed heads and spray them red or gold to decorate our home during the festive period. They were designed in autumn 2022 using last years seed heads as a guide, 

After sketching, we transfer the design onto lino and carved with a fine tool. Each card is then individually handprinted and is therefore subtly unique. 

These cards are blank inside for your own message and measure 140mm x 140mm. They are made from good quality 300g recycled paper and supplied with a brown Kraft envelope.
