Islay Prints is a small creative business based on the Isle of Islay, inspired by the wild beauty of island life. From our home on The Oa, a rugged and remote corner of Islay surrounded by sea, wildlife, and ever-changing landscapes, we create original lino prints, colourful homewares, and handcrafted pieces that bring a little of the Hebrides into your home.

Our work is inspired by Islay’s wildflowers, coastal sea life, birds, landscapes, and whisky heritage. From organic cotton tea towels, tote bags, wash bags, and handmade lampshades to seaweed monoprints and original lino prints, every design begins with the island around us.

We are passionate about creating beautiful, practical pieces that are made to last. We carefully source our products in the UK using organic and sustainable materials where possible, use vegetable oil-based inks in our printing, and aim to keep our packaging as plastic-free as we can.

What began during lockdown in 2020 as a love of linocut and printmaking has grown into a business rooted in creativity, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to place.
