A Kraft notebook with a handprinted linoprinted cover inspired by and created on the Isle of Islay, off the west coast of Scotland.
This notebook is A6 in size measuring 105mmx145mm. The cover is 300 gsm Kraft paper and there are 40 double sided lined pages of 80 gsm paper.
The Old Goat
Islay is home to a large population of feral goats, they live wild on the cliffs and are such characterful animals, you often smell them before you see them!
After sketching we then transfer the design onto lino and carve it with a fine tool. Every notebook is individually hand printed using vegetable oil based and is therefore unique.
