A hand printed linocut card inspired by and created on the Isle of Islay off the west coast of Scotland.
This card is blank inside for your own message and measures 172mm x 122mm. The card is made from good quality 300g recycled paper and comes with a brown Kraft envelope.
Tufted Vetch (Vicia cracca)
A beautiful purple member of the pea family that grows in pockets on the road verges and meadows here on The Oa, Islay. Their branched twisting tendrils grab onto the surrounding grasses for support.
This Tufted Vetch was sketched on a quiet Oa roadside near our home. After sketching we then transfer the design onto lino and carve it with a fine tool. Every card is hand printed and therefore unique. We use vegetable oil-based inks and our cards and envelopes are made from recycled paper and packaged in recycled tissue paper.
