A hand printed linocut card inspired by and created on the Isle of Islay off the west coast of Scotland.
These cards are blank inside for your own message and measure 120mm x 120mm. They are made from good quality 270g recycled paper with a finely stippled surface giving a 'felt' textured surface. Cards are supplied with a brown Kraft envelope also made with 100% recycled paper.
The Hairy Dog
This linocut is of our dog Mossy, a German Wirehaired Pointer crossed with a Labrador. Bred on Islay, there are lots of her family members around to enjoy beach fun and muddy hill walks.
After sketching we then transfer the design onto Lino and carve it with a fine tool. Every card is hand printed and therefore unique. We use vegetable oil-based inks and our cards and envelopes are made from recycled card and packaged in recycled tissue paper.
