A hand printed linocut card inspired by and created on the Isle of Islay off the west coast of Scotland.
This card is blank inside for your own message and measures 140mm x 140mm. The card is made from good quality 270g recycled paper, it comes with a Kraft envelope.
These iconic Scottish cows are a must see for many visitors – their shaggy coats, huge horns and often stunning background scenery make them one of the most photogenic livestock in the world. Here on the RSPB Oa Reserve on Islay this hardy breed is used to graze the remote rugged grasslands to create the right habitat for foraging Chough – a rare and endangered bird. After sketching, we transfer the design onto lino, before carving and printing. Every card is hand printed and therefore unique. We use vegetable oil-based inks and our cards and envelopes are made from recycled paper.
