A hand printed linocut card inspired by our island home, the Isle of Islay.
This card is blank inside for your own message and measures 172mm x 122mm. The card is made from good quality 300g recycled paper and comes with a brown Kraft envelope.
Carraig Fhada Lighthouse stands overlooking Port Ellen and Kilnaughton Bay in the south of Islay. Commissioned by Walter Frederick Campbell in 1832 in memory of Eleanor Campbell. The light flashes every 3 seconds with white, red and green sectors. This design was sketched in spring 2021, after sketching we transfer the design onto Lino and carve it with a fine tool. Every card is hand printed and therefore unique. We use vegetable oil-based inks and our cards and envelopes are made from 100% recycled paper.
