Golden Eagle - Original Linoprint

This linocut is inspired by the golden eagles resident on the Oa, the south west corner of Islay and a place we are lucky enough to call home. Despite seeing them on a regular basis, it's still an enormous treat to see them soaring over the hills.

After sketching, we transfer the design to a piece of Lino and carve with a fine tool. Each piece is individually hand printed using using vegetable oil based inks.

Printed on 100% recycled cotton paper, handmade in India, aged and dried in the dun. The 130gsm paper is tree free, acid free and chemical free. Due to the handmade nature of the paper each sheet differs slightly. Each print measures approx 15x10cm and has a deckled edge.
